CANCELLED - People Show 137 ‘Who knows how many?’

Wednesday 27 May 2020 16:00 - 17:00

Event No: 20

Hilarious theatre in a great venue

Venue: Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond

It is with regret that People Show have had to cancel the performance of People Show 137: 'Who Knows How Many' on 27th May 2020. This is due to an injury to one of the members which will need surgery. They would have loved to perform for Swaledale Festival at the Georgian Theatre Royal, and we all hope that another opportunity will arise for the show to be staged there.

Forty years ago, People Show Cabaret toured the world. It was an amazing show which turned everything cabaret on its head, and the four protagonists were dubbed ‘the Beatles of performance art’. Now, the youngest one, Chahine Yavroyan, has sadly died and the other three - Mark Long, Emil Wolk and George Khan - along with their friend Bill Palmer, have reassembled to make a new show. Well, new…and on the other hand…old. Years of physical, verbal and musical gymnastics are taken to the next dimension…where the black hole of life is finally challenged.
