4-mile route round ancient woodland, riverside pastures and waterfalls
Venue:
Yorke Square Car Park, Richmond Green
Led by Chris Meek and members of the Yoredale Natural History Society, this 4-mile route takes in ancient woodland, riverside pastures and waterfalls, including Billy Banks Wood, Round Howe and Richmond waterfall. There are steep steps and an occasional stile, and some paths may be muddy in wet weather. No dogs please.

Places are limited so please book in advance. If a walk is sold out, you can call our office to add your name to the waiting list. Please let us know as early as possible if you are not going to use your walk ticket; we can’t offer refunds but someone else may be able to take your place. You’ll need sturdy boots, waterproofs and a hat. For the longer walks bring lunch and water. Coins for ticket machines may be needed. Published durations are approximate.
