St. Agatha's, Easby

This ancient intimate venue is famous for its 13th Century wall paintings. There is also a replica of the 'Easby Cross', the original of which is in the V&A, said by Pevsner to be the finest Anglo Saxon sculpture in the North.

Car Parking - there is a small public car park near the church and a nearby field is made available for parking for Swaledale Festival concerts.

Refreshments - St. Agatha's is famed for it's refreshments with a strawberry tea provided before festival events.

There are no toilets at the Church, a portaloo is provided in the public car-park.
