St. Mary's Church, Muker

St. Mary

The church was one of very few built during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and was consecrated in 1580. The tower is assumed to date from 1793 and contains two bells, possibly taken from Marrick at the dissolution of the monastries.

Parking: there is a public pay-and-display car park 300 yards from the venue.  Please park with consideration for local residents.

Accessibility: the church is wheelchair accessible but situated on a short, steep hill.  Audience members with accessibility needs will need to be dropped off and vehicles parked elsewhere. There is an accessible toilet in Muker opposite The Farmers Arms.

Refreshments: are available from the tea rooms and pub in Muker village.

Toilets: public toilets are located opposite The Farmers Arms.
