The award-winning jazz trio, which celebrates its twentieth year this year, is well known for its performances in sacred buildings and concert halls around the world. The players’ unique ability to move effortlessly between jazz, classical and world music styles has led to exciting collaborations with the King’s Singers, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Liane Carroll, Carolyn Sampson, Richard Rodney Bennett and the Choir of Westminster Abbey, as well as an on-screen appearance in the television series Lewis. Tonight’s programme will include music by Tim Garland, Gwilym Simcock, Cole Porter and Maurice Ravel, and in the second half the trio will invite long-term friends and colleagues the Sacconi Quartet to join them on stage.
