• Tickets must be booked online.
  • ​Please book tickets only for those in your household ‘bubble’.
  • Seating will be pre-allocated this year. Where possible those in your bubble will be seated together. The bubbles will be appropriately distanced from each other. 
  • We aim to allocate seats in the order of booking, beginning with the front of the venue and working backwards.
  • Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time. There is no advantage in arriving earlier as seats will be pre-allocated. We may need to contact you later to change your arrival time, so please check your emails.
  • You will be given your seat numbers on arrival at the event. 
  • There will be no intervals.
  • All Covid-19 guidelines must be adhered to. We respectfully request that you wear a face-covering and socially distance.
  • Due to changing government regulations the programme and event guidelines are subject to change, so keep an eye on our website. 
  • We’re sorry that there can be no refunds or exchanges unless the performance is cancelled.

Kites, clogging, music, dance - FREE, just turn up!

Venue: Reeth Green

Three days of outdoor workshops & activities, FREE, ideal for families and all in Reeth!

10:00 to 16:00 - Kite-Making Workshops
The workshops will run from 10:00 to 16:00 - just turn up at any time between 11:00 and 15:30. All materials and equipment will be provided. Malcolm Goodman (aka The Kiteman) will also be flying some of his own spectacular kites when time and weather allow. 

11:00 to 11:10 - 'Hope' by the Dales Youth Choir (previously the Dales Virtual Choir)
Led by Debbie Allenby 

11:10 to 12:30 - Reeth Brass Band
Evocative brass band music on Reeth Green.

12:30 to 14:00 - Richmond Clog Dancers
Traditional dance on Reeth bandstand.

13:00 to 16:00 - Quoits
Have a go at this classic outdoor game - suitable for everyone from absolute beginners to seasoned experts!

14:00 to 14:30 - Janet Seymour School of Theatre Dance
With maypole dancing from 11:00
Young dancers from this immensely talented local dance school will perform on Reeth Green and in the Orchard at Hudson House.

15:00 to 15:45 - The Pneûma Project (Orchard)
Dance artist Miranda Tufnell, with two musicians and three dancers, will explore the life-giving potency of breath lost and regained. An immersive performance in the Orchard at Hudson House, in which movement and live sound create a shifting tapestry of images and stories. Followed by an optional movement workshop. There will be a bucket collection for voluntary donations to Swaledale Festival (registered charity no.1025480)
