IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Tickets must be booked online.
  • ​Please book tickets only for those in your household ‘bubble’.
  • Seating will be pre-allocated this year. Where possible those in your bubble will be seated together. The bubbles will be appropriately distanced from each other. 
  • We aim to allocate seats in the order of booking, beginning with the front of the venue and working backwards.
  • Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time. There is no advantage in arriving earlier as seats will be pre-allocated. We may need to contact you later to change your arrival time, so please check your emails.
  • You will be given your seat numbers on arrival at the event. 
  • There will be no intervals.
  • All Covid-19 guidelines must be adhered to. Please wear a mask and socially distance.
  • Due to changing government regulations the programme and event guidelines are subject to change, so keep an eye on our website. 
  • We’re sorry that there can be no refunds or exchanges unless the performance is cancelled.
  • ‘Festival Friends’ will have a one-week priority booking period during which Single Friends can buy 2 tickets per event for those in their bubble and Joint Friends can buy 4 for those in theirs.

4.5 mile walk in “Herriot Country”

Venue: Hawes National Park Centre at Dales Countryside Museum

Join the experienced National Park volunteer guides for a 4.5 mile walk in the “Herriot Country” looking at traditional rural activities and structures. There will be an optional but recommended visit to Hardraw Force ( £3.00 entry fee to be paid by each walker upon entry).  Bring your lunch.  No dogs please.

Adult £7, Under 25 £3

You’ll need sturdy boots, waterproofs and hat. For the longer walks bring lunch and water. Coins for ticket machines are needed if starting from a car park. Published durations are approximate. We are grateful to Swaledale and Arkengarthdale Archaeology Group, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and Yoredale Natural History Society for leading some of our walks.
