Helen Guy discusses the nature photography pioneers from Thwaite

Venue: Reeth Memorial Hall

An informative talk on the lives and legacy of Richard and Cherry Kearton. From their childhood growing up in the tiny village of Thwaite in Swaledale, they developed their interest in the natural world and went on to become celebrated pioneers of wildlife photography. Cherry Kearton’s 1930 film inspired David Attenborough to develop his interest in the natural world.
