Indefinable surround-sound performance featuring turntables and electric guitar
Venue: Richmond, St Mary's Church
An unmissable surround-sound performance especially curated for our festival by award-winning turntablist and composer Shiva Feshareki alongside improvised music from electric guitarist Simon Speare and multi-talented young artists from Wensleydale. The project is inspired by the ancient architecture of Shiva’s Persian roots in which everything is connected and multilayered. Words and music, sound and feeling, movement and stillness ebb and flow in a wave of constantly evolving variations.
Please note that Kit Downes, the originally advertised organist, has been replaced by a different artist and instrument. In partnership with Studio Feshareki and d&b audiotechnik, and with thanks to Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grants.
Adult £22; Under 25 £3
Generously supported by Elizabeth & Andrew Bedford
