Askrigg, St Oswald's Church

Askrigg, St Oswald

One of few Grade I listed buildings in North Yorkshire, it dates from the 15th century although there is evidence of earlier work. It was built in the Perpendicular style and possesses an embattled western tower. 

Parking
Limited parking is available on the main street and in the car park at the north end of the village (DL8 3HD).  Please park with consideration for local residents.

Access
The church is fully accessible via the north door and has a single accessible toilet. Audience members may be dropped off on Mill Lane but drivers will need to park elsewhere. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your needs and we will do our best to help. A hearing loop is available.

Toilets
A single toilet is located inside the church. 

Refreshments
Tea, coffee and biscuits may be available inside the church.
