Gunnerside Village Hall

Gunnerside Village Hall

The Village Hall (originally called the Literary Institute) was built in the 1860s, and has been formally registered as a charity since 1940.

Parking: is available adjacent to the village hall, but please park with consideration for local residents. Spaces are limited and it's advisable to arrive at least half an hour early to allow sufficient time for parking.

Accessibility: there is no wheelchair access to the performance space unfortunately, which is on the first floor and accessible only via a staircase. Blue Badge holders - please contact the Festival box office on 01748 880019 and we will do our best to reserve a parking space for you close to the hall. A fully accessible toilet is available in the public toilets across the bridge, around 140 metres from the venue.

Refreshments: tea and coffee are available.

Toilets: are situated on the half-landing off the stairs.
