We are delighted to announce the line-up for 2022! The Festival, which will run from 28 May to 11 June, will consist of 50 music, arts and walking events to mark the Festival’s 50th anniversary. 

It is with deep sadness that we have to report the death of multi-instrumentalist and Festival favourite Clare Salaman after a long illness.

Kites coursing across Reeth Green; resounding drum beats and dancing skirts; the clickety-clack of clogs, clapsticks and tap shoes; the clang of quoits and the stirring sound of local brass…

Including kite-making, dance performances, samba bands, a singing workshop with The Young'uns, brass band concerts and quoits.

The Dales Countryside Museum (DCM) in Hawes will re-open with a special exhibition telling the story of schools in the Upper Dales.
